Innoli, July 8, 2026: BIT Polytechnic, Innoli, organized its Orientation Programme 2026 for newly admitted first-year diploma students at the International Seminar Hall, welcoming students and parents to the institution.
The programme began with an invocation, followed by a ceremonial plant watering symbolizing growth and learning. The event was presided over by Dr. S. I. Manjur Basha, Director, Bearys Knowledge Campus, and welcomed by Prof. Prithviraj M., Director, BIT Polytechnic.
Chief Guest Dr. Abdul Khader A. A., Retired Principal of K.P.T. Evening Polytechnic College, Mangalore, encouraged students to cultivate discipline, technical excellence, continuous learning, and strong character. Dr Manjur Basha highlighted the institution’s academic ecosystem, higher education pathways, and placement opportunities.
Dr. C. Kamalakannan, Principal, BIT, motivated students to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, participate in innovation, and pursue research. Dr. Aziz Musthafa, Principal, BIES, spoke about emerging technologies and the importance of future-ready skills.
The programme also included an overview of the institution’s rules and academic expectations by Prof. Malashree, Department of Civil Engineering. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Afshan Tarannum, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, followed by the National Anthem.
